The Republic Precinct has welcomed its first commercial tenants with Woolworths Metro and BWS now up and running.

In the coming months Abode Belconnen, a bank, restaurants, cafes and a range of lifestyle shopping options will also open in the precinct to make life easy for the 500 people already living there and the almost 3,000 who will move in over the next two years.

Thanks to Metro’s State Operations Manager Nathan Shaw for showing us through Canberra’s first Woolworths Metro store.

Metro stores are tailored to the local community, with a focus on quality fresh and healthy food. You’ll find everything from barista-made coffee to freshly made sushi and delicious meals to go. Come into Republic and check them out!
