Green light for construction to begin on Envie, Metropol and Tryst

Geocon has been given a green light to reinvent Canberra’s city centre with the real work soon to begin on Tryst, Metropol and Envie. The approval of the city development means ground will be broken within the coming weeks to revolutionise the way people think about luxury living in Canberra’s city centre.

The three buildings bring another 525 new dwellings to the city, with views over Glebe Park to the south and Mt Ainslie to the North.

“Geocon is reinventing the way people think about luxury living in the city with our three premium developments, Envie, Tryst and Metropol,” Managing Director, Nick Georgalis said.

“We are pleased to have this final step out of the way so we can get on with construction next month, to have people moving in early 2021.

“Over the counter sales for our city development have been nothing short of mind blowing.

“We are about to go below 100 units available across all three buildings, before construction has even begun. The non-stop, insatiable demand for this product is difficult to comprehend, but it just keeps improving every week.”

“Our city development is a huge undertaking, but one which will transform the city, creating an urban oasis which locals will be proud of for generations to come.

The three buildings will offer a quality of life which is unrivalled in Canberra’s city.

Everything will be at arm’s reach for residents living in any of these three buildings, with Glebe Park, the Canberra Centre, Braddon, The ANU, Light Rail stops and Lake Burley Griffin all within easy walking distance. All three buildings offer luxury living in the city – a new concept for Canberrans.

The three buildings have been designed by acclaimed architectural giants, Fender Katsalidis, the same group who brought the New Acton precinct and Mona in Tasmania, to life.

Residents will move into the precinct in early 2021. Just over 100 units remain for sale across all three buildings.
