Geocon injects confidence into the local market signing Woolworths Metro

Geocon, Australia’s 4th largest residential builder/developer, has rebutted against recent property market concerns by securing Woolworths Metro as the anchor tenant at their Republic precinct in Belconnen.

As Canberra’s largest mixed-use precinct, Republic includes over 1,200 apartments, 152-room hotel, a 500-space public car park and around 6,000m2 of ancillary office and retail. With an unprecedented $350m of sales to date, the precinct is a highly desirable trading location.
