Dusk and Republic welcomes Property Council Australia tour ahead of settlement
Republic has set the pace for property development in Canberra, with all corners of the property industry keen to get a glimpse of Australia’s largest residential development currently under construction.
The Property Council of Australia ACT and Geocon welcomed about 50 PCA members to tour Republic on Friday, as the first stage Dusk, edges towards settlement early 2020. On site were valuers, other developers, agents and contractors, who were all visibly impressed by the building’s finish, charm and stunning aesthetic design.
While the tour utilised the now-complete Dusk tower, the entire precinct was on display thanks to the remarkable views afforded from all corners of Dusk’s eye-catching glass façade.
Members from across the property industry were impressed by the enormous undertaking of Republic for Geocon’s construction crew, which will eventually be home to upwards of 2,000 people in 1,250 apartments, across three stages and four buildings.
Touring PCA members were able to explore one, two and three-bedroom apartments, the library, reading rooms and chef’s kitchen on Level 13 of Dusk while admiring the 360° views across Belconnen and the rest of the billion dollar precinct.
Geocon recognises the continued efforts of the PCA ACT to champion property development in Canberra, as led by Adina Cirson.
