about the role 

As an Architectural Draftsperson you will work with a Project Architect, BIM Coordinator and other Draftspersons to create high quality tender and construction drawing packages.

Key responsibilities include:

Create and modify Building Information Models and content included therein to defined modelling standards

Extract schedules and other associated data from the Building Information Model

Participate in design meetings with the Project Manager, GEOCON design team and consultants

Implement changes resulting from resolution of design issues and clash-detection of the 3D models

Work with the Project Architect to coordinate with services engineers to resolve building issues

Assist the BIM Coordinator to work with a third-party documentation firm assisting in creation of drawing packages

Skills required:

Have minimum advanced diploma or equivalent in building design / drafting

Revit skills with experience in content (family) creation, preferably working in a team (work-shared) environment

Experience in construction documentation of residential or large-scale commercial projects beneficial but not essential

Willingness to adhere to strong documentation and modelling standards

Show strong interest and an aptitude to working with technology in the design space
